What services do you provide?

Below is a list of the most common services Connections provides:

  • Psychotherapy, counseling and treatment.

  • Prescribing of medication & medication management

  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and blood work as indicated

  • Coordinating care with other providers involved with an individual's care and/or providing referrals to outside supports as needed

What conditions do you treat?

We treat the mental health needs of client’s with a variety of psychiatric, emotional, and behavioral health conditions.

Here is a list of some of the most common conditions we treat:

  • Mood disorders, including depression and Bipolar Disorder

  • Stress-related disorders such as anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, & posttraumatic stress disorder

  • Neurodevelopmental disorders, such as attention hyperactivity disorder & Autism Spectrum disorder

  • Personality disorders

  • Grief and trauma counseling

  • Eating disorders

  • As well as many other conditions.

What exactly does "therapy" entail?

Psychotherapy, or "Therapy", is a process of growth and self-discovery. Our sessions promote behavioral transformation by encouraging a positive outlook and the adoption of new attitudes and reactions. In treatment, effective psychotherapy methods are used to instill self-understanding among clients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations.

Do you prescribe medication?

Yes. While treatment with mediation is not always necessary, for some individuals, medication may be needed to treat their mental health symptoms or help stabilize an individual when they are in crisis.  If your provider feels medication would be helpful for your particular situation, the provider will discuss that with you during a scheduled appointment. You will be provided in-depth education on treatment options and the risks and benefits of each so you can make an informed decision. Together, you and your provider will create the best treatment plan to address your needs.

Who do you provide services to?

We provide services to the following populations:

  • Children

  • Adolescents

  • Adults

How much does it cost?

Connections accepts most major insurances. Please contact your insurance company or contact our office to determine if the provider is in-network with your plan. If you do not have insurance, please call the office to discuss the cost of the service(s) you are in need of.

Do you see patients in-person?

Currently all appointments are conducted via Telehealth and provided to individuals who reside in the state of New York. Please understand that not all clients or situations are appropriate for Telehealth, such as emergency or crisis situations. Contact us today to determine if you could benefit from our services provided through Telehealth.

What do I do in emergency situations?

For life-threatening emergencies or crisis situations, please call 911, go to the emergency room at your local hospital, or call your local mobile mental health team.
